"What an artist! Everything is so simple, so ingenious, without the slightest attempt to explain the music," wrote Alain Lompech (Bachtrack) about Dmitry Masleev's recital

“What an artist! Everything is so simple, so ingenious, without the least attempt to explain the music,” wrote Alain Lompech (Bachtrack) about Dmitry Masleev's recital.

Dmitry Masleev has established himself on the biggest international stages, from the Musikverein in Vienna to the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, via La Roque d'Anthéron, Verbier or the Lucerne Festival. He collaborates with conductors such as Christoph Eschenbach, Mikko Franck or David Robertson, and orchestras such as the Radio-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, the Orchestre National de France or the Verbier Festival Orchestra.

His latest recording for Aparté, in which he himself conducts the prestigious Svetlanov Orchestra from the keyboard, brings together Spanish Rhapsody by Liszt, the Totentanz And the Paganini Variations by Rachmaninov.

Trained at the Moscow Conservatory under Mikhail Petukhov, then at the Lake Como Academy, Dmitry Masleev benefited from an education combining Russian tradition and international openness, with recognised piano masters.
