At the age of 21, Yoav Levanon is already performing on the biggest international stages. Hailed for his maturity and virtuosity (FAZ, Diapason), it has just been released Liszt, Concertos & Totentanz at Warner Classics, after a first album devoted to Beethoven. Trained by Murray Perahia, he is one of the most promising young pianists.

At only 21 years old, the Israeli pianist Yoav Levanon interprets a wide repertoire on the biggest international stages The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung hailed his performance of Chopin's Concerto No. 2 with the Frankfurt Radio Orchestra as showing “immense maturity”. He has performed in renowned venues such as the Boulez-Saal, the Concertgebouw, the Elbphilharmonie, and has participated in festivals such as Verbier and Gstaad. He played with the Lucerne, Poznan, and Liepāja symphony orchestras, and shared the stage with Martha Argerich at Schloss Elmau. The magazine Diapason called him “a brilliant virtuoso... an authentic musician.” In 2022, he released his first album A Monument for Beethoven at Warner Classics, acclaimed by critics. His new recording, “Liszt, Concertos & Totentanz”, was released in 2024 by Warner. Winner of numerous competitions since childhood, he performed at Carnegie Hall at the age of 5. He studied with Murray Perahia and Sir András Schiff and is among the most promising talents of his generation.
